I have one, and it worked amazingly well, I have a habit of taking thing apart and pulled the moter out and ran just the motor, and the suction was unbelievable for a hqnd held, so I'm now using the motor in conjunction with a dust removal system for an airbrush air eraser blast cabinet dust collection system. Completely different application, but the cyclonic action creates a very formidable suction power. My wife got an up right pet eraser, thats why I was allowed to disassemble the hand held one lol

This vacuum is made for hard floors- think broom replacement

I hav a great response from it on removing hair, including pet fur. Perhaps an in vivo experiment would have been best. but truthfully, it is a helluva lot easier for me but truthfully, it is a helluva lot easier for me to use than broom, dustpan, and does work better.

I love mine! I had two Bissels, replaced them with three Red DEvil's because of better suction AND versatility..

Funny!! I have one. Had it for 15 years or more now. Its heavy!! I didnt know the handle folded or the hepa filter at the bottom should be removed and dust removed, so thanks John and Eric! Vacuums carpet and dog hair excellently!

*There should be an app called "things that work like their supposed to"🌼 **allabout.wiki/WindTunnel** I had a Bissell bolt and it's internal battery failed. I did not know that it could not be replaced when I bought it. The Hoover out performs the Bissell in every way possible. Twice the suction, even picks up pine needles which the Bissell would just push around. The control switch from floor to carpet is controlled by your thumb and allows for immediate transition. This machine works!*

*Our cheap hand-vac was broken by a 1.5 year old to the point a new one was needed. 🌼 **allabout.wiki/BLACK+DECKER** I have some m12 tools so I lobbied to try this out despite the reviews that say it doesn't have enough suction. Compared to what we had ($30 hand vac from Wally World), this is a nice durable kid friendly replacement. It's good for little messes along with minor car cleaning. Don't expect it to rival the 18V models or corded models. Having a replaceable shop-vac style cone filter and replaceable battery is awesome. It comes with an extension if and two end/nose pieces that are handy too.*

Good to know but what is really in people's mind I think is longevity-wise of accessory parts. Are there washable filters? - I hate having to plan long ahead to order parts and I know most of these have some kind of hepa filter which need to be replaced but I would like to know if this vacuum has a washable canister filter. Long term uses, is the hose durable? I saw some picture online where the hose would bed and break down, could this be a problem ?

6:30 Oh, wow... The decibel level is quite high! . I own one of these, but I also own a BISSELL CleanView 1330. This SimpliStick is much quieter than the Bissell, so that probably means BISSELL is CRAZY loud indeed... No wonder my cats want to crawl up the walls when they hear that one. 😬 (I'm getting a new vacuum for their sake - and my sanity.)
